In recent years, an increasing number of museums in China have opened their doors to the public free of charge. Both the number of exhibitions held in museums and the number of visitors have seen a significant rise. Long queues have become a common sight in front of some popular museums. These museums have to take measures to limit the number of visitors. Nowadays, the forms of exhibitions are becoming increasingly diverse. Some large museums utilize advanced technologies such as multimedia and virtual reality to make their exhibitions more appealing. Many museums also host online exhibitions, allowing people to view rare exhibits on the internet. However, the experience of viewing exhibits in person remains more attractive to the majority of visitors.
