Dear Lynn,
I’m Li Hua, the exchange student from China who will be staying with you next semester. I’m writing to introduce myself and confirm some details about my arrival.
I’m incredibly excited about this opportunity to study in Canada and live with your family. My flight is scheduled to arrive in Toronto on the afternoon of Friday, August 25th. I would be grateful if you could tell me if there’s anything I should prepare in advance. For instance, what kind of clothes would be suitable for the weather then? Also, is there anything special from China you would like me to bring as a small gift?
