Bear Grylls climbed down from the 22nd floor of the 168-meter-tall STV Mansion on Sunday to celebrate the end of filming on the new series.
"Survivor Games' is the biggest, most ambitious in the world of survival shows we've ever done. We went to the toughest jungle in all of China with eight Chinese celebrities who are total rookies," he said.
British adventurer and TV-star Bear Grylls - famous for eating raw creatures and surviving the toughest natural environments - has arrived, to promote his first-ever collaboration with Chinese TV. It's a show called "Survivor Games".
The crew spent over two weeks in forests and jungles in Guizhou Province. The forest covers almost 50,000 square kilometers and is noted for its karst features. He led a team of eight celebrities, along with the show's host Jiang Changjian.
"Bear went to many other countries to film, but this is the first time for Chinese to be involved. It's also a great opportunity for Bear to learn more about the Chinese spirit," Jiang said.
The celebrities survived on a diet they had not expected.

"Like some insects, and we have to kill it by our mouths or our teeth," said Janine Chang, actress.
"It's your choice to eat it or not, but he will reason with you why you should eat it," actor Bai Jingting said.
"I say to them, listen. We got a lot of traveling every day, we need energy and calories. The food isn't going to be nice. But I'm looking for the people to get over that and do whatever it takes," Grylls said.
The 12-episode show is scheduled to air on Dragon TV every Friday starting on October 16th.
