This phenomenon, to some extent, reflects teenagers' yearning for a better self and a more colorful life. However, excessive star chasing can bring about several negative impacts. For one thing, it may distract teenagers from their studies, leading to a decline in academic performance. For another, blindly following stars might cause them to lose their own judgment and individuality.
To address this issue, schools and parents should play a crucial role. Schools can organize various activities to guide teenagers to establish correct values and pursue more meaningful goals. Parents, on the other hand, should communicate more with their children, understanding their inner needs and helping them distinguish right from wrong. Only in this way can teenagers enjoy star chasing in a rational and healthy way.
