Buses used to be the primary means of transportation for Chinese people. In recent years, due to the continuous increase in the number of private cars, traffic problems in cities have become increasingly severe. To encourage more people to travel by bus, many cities have been striving to improve the service quality of buses. The facilities on the vehicles are constantly being upgraded, and the speed has also significantly improved. However, bus fares remain quite low. Nowadays, in most cities, many local elderly residents can ride buses for free.
