The Qinghai-Tibet Railway, the world's highest and longest plateau railway, spans a total length of 1,956 kilometers, with 960 kilometers of it situated at altitudes exceeding 4,000 meters. It is the first railway connecting Tibet to other regions of China. Given that the railway traverses one of the world's most fragile ecosystems, ecological protection measures were implemented both during and after its construction to ensure it becomes a "green railway." The Qinghai-Tibet Railway has significantly shortened travel times between inland China and Tibet. More importantly, it has greatly boosted Tibet's economic development and improved the living standards of local residents. Since the railway's opening, an increasing number of people have chosen to travel to Tibet by train, offering them the opportunity to appreciate the breathtaking scenery along the route.
