Methods Sixty patients with malignant pleural effusions were randomly assigned to small bore catheter thoracostomy closed drainage group or conventional pleural aspiration group. Cisplatin and interleukin-2 were infused into the thoracic cavity in eligible patients after drainage. Responses were evaluated 30 days later.

方法将恶性胸腔积液患者随机分成两组，分别进行中心静脉导管闭式引流和常规胸腔穿刺，并均于胸腔内注入顺铂（cisplatin，DDP）和白介素2（interleukin2，IL2）。

After the operation, 4 children had residual shunt and 3 of them needed thoracoscopy to ligate the residual shunt. Furthermore, 3 children had recurrent nerve paralysis and 5 needed ligation of PDA through thoracostomy.

术后残余分流4例，开胸结扎残余分流导管3例，喉返神经麻痹3例，5例转为开胸结扎。

Conclusions After tube thoracostomy, using micro pump for analgesia can ease pain effectively and block a series of bad complications caused by post-operation pain and reduce healing time as well as make the patient recover earlier.

结论胸腔闭式引流术后应用微量泵镇痛，能有效减轻术后疼痛，阻断了因术后疼痛产生的一系列影响康复的因素，缩短病程，促进患者早日康复。
