Stimulated radiation ( in the wavelength range of 340-385nm) was generated by two-photon excitation, and three-photon ionization signal via two-photon near-resonance was also measured in PTP ( p-terphenyl) dye vapor.

Hydrogenation of terphenyl was performed under a hydrogen pressure of 5 140kg/ cm~ 2at 220 320 ℃. The influences of pressure, temperature and time on the depth of hydrogenation were investigated.
