The sol-gel process with V_2O_5 powder, benzyl alcohol and isopropanol to prepare V_2O_5 thin films were optimized. The films were characterized by XRD, FTIR, AFM, UV-VIS-NIR spectrophotometer and electrochemical measurements respectively.
